We are all on a journey of finding ourselves and we never know how long that will take or where it will lead us… Who will join us on this journey or what the significance of the encounter will be.
When I started my journey, I was all about learning as much as I could about healing and developing myself.
Never in my life time did I think I would be where I am today doing what I am doing (which is a lot).
I have covered a lot of ground so to speak and have met some amazing people.
People and experiences are our teachers
A lot of them have actually taught me a lot about the spiritual way of life.
Some have given me experiences that weren’t so good, in that I allowed them to take away my power, change the way I feel about things, or maybe even feeling not so good about who I am … and others just pushed my buttons!
Each experience made me reassess who I was and what I wanted out of life.
So although I took some things to heart it made me look at what I wanted from life, not only physically but also spiritually.
Boundaries
One of the lessons was putting up my boundaries and knowing that it is ok to say no to people.
It was also ok to delete some people from my life so that I could move forward unhindered to seek and search my own purpose here.
I have been teaching now for over 25 years and I realised how much I had given to others and how my development with spirit was actually missing out – which is one of the reasons that when I had the opportunity to go to England and study with some of the more advanced tutors I realised that I needed to learn more.
Learning Never Stops
So much had changed from the early days of learning and I realised that we were stuck in the same old same old here in Australia.
Meeting people and tutors from around the world actually enhanced my learning and gave me the thirst to learn more from others so that I could enhance my own mediumship.
The lesson for myself and others is that when you are a medium or healer the learning never stops.
I have always known this, which is why I kept studying. But nothing can replace sitting in front of another teacher and seeing how they do it.
Keep Searching, Learning, Experiencing
Spirit and life have given me so many opportunities and I know that for the future my learning will continue on.
So if you are on this path just don’t accept what you feel you know – search for more, keep growing and thriving.
